One chocolate chip muffin from Dunkin Donuts has a heartbreaking total of 550 calories. Yes my friends, that is correct, a little less than half of your allotted calories for one day on a muffin. A muffin. Do you know how many pain-staking minutes it takes to burn off that small yet deadly mound of evil on the elliptical? I do — sixty. That’s one whole hour of wishing calories didn’t count; but alas, they do.
Unfortunately, a girl needs her muffin fix every now and again. Therefore, I’m going to introduce you to an enchanted sort of life where muffins can be fat-free. Yes, it does exist and it is what every chubby girl’s dreams are made of.
What you’ll need:
1 Box of Betty Crocker Devil’s Food Cake Mix
1 15 0z. can of Pumpkin
1/4 cup of water
There are three ingredients…
1. mix them together in a bowl (or perhaps a pot if you’re a college student and feel no need for basic life necessities)
2. drop by heaping tablespoons into cupcake pan
(correct, I do not own a mixing bowl but I do own a cupcake pan.. priorities people)
3. set your oven to 350 degrees, bake for 18-22 minutes and call it a day.
It actually is that simple — take it from someone who can barely make a plate of nachos in her microwave, these are a piece of.. dare I mention cake?
